At every WoodWorks Show, one club is honored for demonstrating the most community spirit. Bill passed last spring. His wife, Mickey, sons, Bill, Jr., James and Woodline partner Wayne, continue to offer quality tools at the shows.

Part of the fun with woodworking is sharing the knowledge, passing it on to future woodworkers. It’s also about giving back to the community, charity fundraising, building toys and furniture for those who are less fortunate. Kay Pomroy, founded the Reaching Down Project after she heard about the struggles of several families unable to provide beds for their children. Kay believes in empowerment; she teaches woodworking so that others will learn a useful skill to earn a living.
