Congratulations Blue Water Area Woodturners, recipients of the First Annual Bill Thompson, Sr. Memorial Award for Community Participation! This first place winner in 2008, 18th Century Federal Card Table by Ed Stuckey, active member of the Michigan Woodworkers' Guild, is a piece that is even more awe-inspiring in person. Ed uses solid Mahogany with veneers of Mahogany Crotch, Curly Mahogany, Satinwood Crotch, Brazilian Rosewood, Ebony, Curly Maple, Walnut, and Holly.
